Moving forward anyway
There is something strange about being in a season where everything feels heavy and beautiful at the same time.
Lately, I have been doing new things, putting myself out there, and trying to create a life that feels bigger than the walls of my comfort zone. If I’m being honest, it hasn’t exactly been the smooth, inspiring journey social media would have you believe. There have been awkward moments, disappointments, and more than a few times when I wondered what exactly I was doing.
Making friends in your 30s is hard. A real struggle.
And we are not even going to talk about the complete non-existence of my dating life right now. (That story deserves its own post. 😉)
Yet here I am.
Trying to care for my mother.
Trying to show up for work.
Trying to meet new people.
Trying to stay connected to myself.
Trying to keep faith when life feels uncertain.
Whew.
I am exhausted.
But somehow, I am still smiling in the midst of it.
What I am learning is that life does not stop while we are figuring things out. It keeps moving. It pushes us forward through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Some days the reminders are joyful. Other days they bring sadness. Some days I feel hopeful. Other days I feel overwhelmed by everything I am carrying.
But every step matters.
Every conversation.
Every new experience.
Every disappointment.
Every small victory.
I am learning to honor each moment for what it is and then keep moving.
Not because everything is perfect.
Not because I have all the answers.
But because gratitude and faith have become my companions on this journey.
I am grateful for the people who show up.
Grateful for the lessons that come from the hard days.
Grateful for the opportunities to try again tomorrow.
And faithful that even when I cannot see the full picture, God is still working in the middle of it all.
So if you are in a season where you are carrying a lot, trying new things, showing up for others, and wondering if any of it is making a difference, keep going.
Life will continue to move forward.
And so will you.
One faithful step at a time.
In closing I want anyone reading to remember the following scripture
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9.

Keep fighting for what keeps you human.
You are the best companion there is.
We are with you.
Thank you for this reminder as we’re kinda experiencing the same struggles.
Even everything though feels heavy we still have to be thankful for everything.
